“Then he said to them all: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.  For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.”   Luke 19:23-24 NIV

It is reasonable to say that the basis of all our thoughts or thinking is founded on questions. If this is true than the better questions we ask the better our thinking will be. Think about it, every innovative invention or idea always came out of a better question asked.

Here is a thought to consider: Are you a “Fan” or “Follower” of Christ?  Many people today believe in God and believe that they are going to heaven. Our world defines Heaven’s worthiness as based on our seemingly goodness. Scripture tells us that no one is good and all of us fall short of the glory of God.

Simply being a Fan of Christ is not enough. Liking Jesus is not enough to get you to Heaven. Jesus never in all four Gospels ever asked people to like Him. He only asked them to follow Him. He declared that He is the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Him.

He is not someone that can be simply added to your life! He requires everything! Anything less is just not worthy. There is nothing wrong with being a Fan of Jesus. He did great things and is admirable in every way, but He requires more than that from us. He is the answer to every need we have and the fullness of every area we lack.

I encourage you to ponder the current questions you are asking yourself and consider what might be better questions you might need to ask. You know when you have stumbled on a better question when you start encountering new breakthroughs in your life!

Have a great week!
